The college has a clear and unambiguous uniform policy. Students should conform to the uniform policy and arrive at college suitably dressed and prepared for work and learning. Parents and the college will work together to make sure that students are appropriately dressed.

  • College uniform is essential in preventing students being judged on how they dress or look;
  • A smart uniform helps to teach students the importance of dressing smartly and appropriately for work;
  • College uniform helps to prevent students from pressurising parents/carers into expensive clothing;
  • College uniform is essential in helping students to identify with the college community and ethos.

All staff will challenge students who are inappropriately dressed and the college may apply sanctions for repeated breaches of the policy. Impractical clothing and fashion items are not acceptable as uniform.
