‘Morality through religion’ has been a successful topic for the year 8 students this year. As part of this they have been looking at attitudes surrounding charity and looking after those less fortunate in society.
The end of this topic involves each year 8 group completing a 4-week project. They will research different charities, identify different fundraising ideas, put one into action (at home or at school) and, to conclude, write a piece of reflective writing about their experiences.
Over the next few weeks they will be putting their SEVA (selfless service) into action to try and raise funds for their group’s chosen charity. Please support them in this endeavour with any small change you have available.
