Join us for our open evening to find out more about the excellent outcomes and exciting opportunities for students at Ibstock Community College and how we best prepare students for their future through effective partnerships.

'We are really pleased with the progress our son has made since starting at Ibstock and how well he has settled in - he loves it!' - Parent

'Without the support and nurture of this school, pupils and staff, I feel our daughter would have really struggled. Instead, her confidence and knowledge has grown under the support of everyone.' - Parent

'The college has created a positive environment for learning' - Ofsted

Ibstock Community College believes that every student, no matter what their starting point, should have access to the same opportunities as their peers.

We provide excellent key stage three education with a clear focus upon ensuring all students are secure in their learning before starting the rigours of GCSE. We ensure students have support through transition from primary to high school and on to our partner upper schools.

Our open evening will give you a chance to see our high-performing college in action, meet our students and talk to our staff.

You warmly invited to attend a brief presentation before taking a look around the college. Our faculty areas will be open for you to visit at your leisure. If you would like to talk to a member of the senior leadership team, they will be available in the hall to answer any questions.

There will be hands-on activities for you to take part in, opportunities for you to talk to staff and students and to see displays of work produced by our students.

We will also have a student run cafe rasing money for the Macmillian cancer support - coffee morning campaign.

We are also offering guided tours during the normal school day, both before and after our open evening. You will be able to meet the Head of School and take a tour around the college with our students. This is a fantastic opportunity to see how the college works during the school day.

We look forward to meeting you all on the 19th.

Anne-Marie Blewitt

Executive Headteacher
