Induction Travel Information 3rd – 5th July 2019


The procedure for transport during induction this year has changed.  Roberts travel will be co-ordinating the induction travel on behalf of Ashby School. 

Parents wishing to arrange school transport for induction days and for August 2019 onwards should contact Roberts Coaches to express an interest by visiting 

The deadline for all on-line applications for induction day passes will be Monday (evening) 24th June 2019.

Your child’s pass will then be sent to their feeder school to be collected by them prior to the induction.

The following page will appear for the day pass for the induction days. Click on the Day Pass Icon for Ashby School and complete the application form.

**Please note** If entry to any service is attempted without a bus pass, travel will be refused by Roberts.

Transport from August 2019

The use of a school bus on an induction day does not necessarily mean that your child will be entitled to free transport when he/she starts at Ashby School.

Entitlement to free transport needs to be confirmed in the first instance by contacting School Transport on (0116) 305 0002 or at

For other fee paying routes (not offered by Roberts), parents can contact Stathams Coaches on       01530 260721.  This includes routes from Huggelscote, Coalville and Ellistown.
