Dear Parent / Carer,

Following a number of enquiries regarding the school blazer I can confirm the following:

Blazers must be worn at all times with the exception of ;

  • PE lessons, when full Ibstock Community College PE kit must be worn.
  • During exceptionally hot weather, when a decision is made by the college and a message it sent informing you of this.

Class teachers may, at times, allow students to remove their blazers whilst they are in the classroom.

As the weather gets colder and wetter please ensure that your child wears an outdoor coat on top of their blazer to keep them warm and dry during break and lunchtime.

Outdoor coats must be plain black, navy or dark grey without contrasting details or coloured logos.

Please ensure you label all uniform with your child's name, including their tie.

If you wish to discuss individual cases please contact your child's form tutor.

Many thanks for your contiuned support.
