To our Year 9 Students and families,
I am delighted to welcome you all to our KS4 information evening. I do not underestimate the importance of the decision you will be making regarding your KS4 choices which you will begin next academic year.
At Ibstock we are excited that you can continue your secondary education with your teachers, who already know you and your talents and strengths as well as your areas for further development. You will see in this booklet the planning and preparation that has been happening over the past few years to ensure that the KS4 offer is appropriate for you, our students.
Your teachers are looking forward to talking through each KS4 course available to you this evening and in school over the next couple of months before you make your final choices in early 2024.
It is important to speak to as many teachers as possible and to take time to read this booklet thoroughly. In doing this you will be able to make your choices with confidence which will continue to support your studies throughout Year 9. The perfect springboard for Year 10.
