We always seek to provide opportunities for a range of education and training providers to have access to our students, to inform them about approved technical education qualifications and apprenticeships.
We provide careers guidance opportunities in PSHE lessons, tutorial lesson, assemblies and specific events and we seek to involve providers as best as we can. Providers will be vetted for appropriateness of message, relevance to our 11-14 age group and based on reference or referral.
We have a wide range of facilities available where we can support and deliver careers guidance and other events linked to future education and employment opportunities. This includes classrooms, assembly hall, small meeting rooms, IT facilities and open spaces.
The National Careers Services website is also a great source of information - for GCSE options being decided upon this can provide informaton on career paths for the future.
